Important Update: Potential Surcharges and Delivery Delays at London Gateway Port

Due to significant congestion, particularly from high-volume Maersk services, the port is facing:

• Delays in container release
• Labour and equipment shortages, resulting in slower turnaround times
• Disruptions in delivery schedules, including missed slots and increased costs

As a direct result, haulage providers may introduce additional charges for:

• Prolonged waiting times
• Failed or delayed collections
• Extended delivery times

These surcharges could begin as early as Monday, 7th July.
