Background

Ms. G lives in France, while her sister resides in the UK. Their mother, who had lived in Austria for many years, sadly passed away in a care home for the elderly.

The Challenge

Ms. G wanted to transport her mother’s ashes from Austria to the UK so they could be scattered at her mother’s favourite place from her childhood. However, she was unsure how to navigate the process.

Our Assistance

With our support, we contacted the funeral director and cremation company, provided guidance on the necessary paperwork, and coordinated with our local agent to arrange the collection and transportation of the ashes to the UK.

Outcome

Once the ashes arrived in the UK, we completed the customs clearance and arranged for their safe delivery to Ms. G’s sister in Devon.
